SKEMA is committed to providing the best services to its candidates, students and partners. Hygiene and safety on its campuses, flexible intakes, an adaptive learning experience, and other measures/policies have been implemented.

Arrival on campuses

 

  • Marking on the ground every 1.50 m (60 inches) in case of waiting at the entrance of the campus
  • Checking of body temperature by SKEMA staff in case of suspicion/symptoms
  • Reception desk equipped with plexiglass protection
  • Self-service hydroalcoholic gel dispensers installed at the entrance
  • Compliance with the 1.50 m (60 inches) distance rule in reception/waiting areas
  • Lift use: one to two people maximum, depending on size
  • Wearing a mask is recommended
     

Life on campuses - common areas (corridors, coffee machines and printers...)

 

  • Social distancing markings every 1.50 m (60 inches)
  • Self-service hydroalcoholic gel dispensers installed across the campus
  • Vending machines disinfected daily, gel and tissue papers available nearby
  • Wearing a mask is recommended
  • Meals: we recommend you to bring your own food and cutlery (the terms and conditions for reopening campus restaurants have not yet been communicated to us) 
     

Life on campuses - classrooms, meeting rooms, lounges...

 

  • Compliance with the 1-metre (39 inches) rule between each seating position
  • Meetings via remote tools (such as TEAMS) whenever possible
  • Daily cleaning of the areas with disinfectant products
  • Wearing a mask is recommended
     

Your 2020 fall intake

 

  • Before the start of the academic year: for international students, a 'buddy' will accompany them during the first week of integration
  • Intake dates:
    • Monday, 14 September 2020, for the Global BBA, ESDHEM, MSc and PGE (year M2 only) and Global Executive MBA programmes
    • Tuesday, 15 September 2020, for the Grande Ecole programme (years L3 and M1) and Two-year MSc programmes
    • Thursday, 1 October 2020, for MS and Executive MS programmes
    • Arrival two weeks before or after the appointed date will be accepted for international students (contact your programme coordinator)
  • In the event of border closures, students can start their courses online
  • Students can start their course at a nearby campus (e.g. Suzhou in China, Raleigh in the USA, Belo Horizonte in Brazil, Stellenbosch in South Africa as well as Lille, Paris and Sophia Antipolis in France) depending on their geographical location, in accordance with the local regulations and the opening of borders at the beginning of the semester

Adaptive pedagogy

 

  • Synchronous and asynchronous courses
  • Lectures' recording for VOD access
  • Adaptation to the remote mode by alternating teaching sequences
  • Automatic attendance recording for synchronous online courses
     

At all times, remember to respect the social distancing measures

 

  • Wash your hands regularly
  • Coughing or sneezing into your elbow or a handkerchief
  • Use disposable tissues
  • Greet without shaking hands and avoid hugs
  • Wearing a mask is recommended
     

All social distancing measures taken are in accordance with local regulations on each of the SKEMA campuses. These guidelines will be updated according to the recommendations of government authorities.
