SKEMA Job Service: students’ go-to for short-term jobs

Published on 06 May 2022

The SKEMA Job Service student association is present on the three French campuses of SKEMA Business School. Since its creation in 1991, it has been offering paid temporary jobs to the school’s students. Stanislas Brun, its head of business development and a first-year student in the Master in Management (PGE) programme, talks about his missions.

How does SKEMA Job Service work?

The SKEMA Job Service association operates on the model of a temporary employment agency. We offer assignments only to SKEMA students. It can be hostessing, commercial activity, prospection, monitoring, etc.

Who do you usually work with?

We work in particular with the events agency Idille, which works on major television shows such as Ninja Warrior or the NRJ Music Awards. For these events, we can recruit about 70 to 80 people. We also work with our school, since the IT monitors, who help the teachers deal with technical problems, are assigned by SKEMA Job Service. Students can easily find our offers: we regularly communicate on our social networks: Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

You recently took part in the National Congress of Job Services. Can you tell us about it?

Yes, we took part in the last congress of Job Service associations organised by the Confédération Nationale des Job Services (CNJS), which has 11 associations like ours throughout France. Being part of this organisation allows us to gain credibility and visibility, and enrich our client portfolio. The CNJS is the counterpart of the Confédération Nationale des Junior-Entreprises, of which SKEMA Conseil is a member.
