The SKEMA Global BBA starts up at the Lille campus

Published on 12 November 2020

SKEMA Global BBA will be set up at the Lille Campus in September 2021. It will welcome young high school graduates from Lille, the Hauts de France region and all over France, who are keen to enter a business school directly after the baccalaureate.

The programme has developed since its inception. Its British structure and international outlook have always been part of its DNA, and today over 8,000 students have already taken the Global BBA.The start of the programme at the Lille campus dovetails with the course development strategy at SKEMA campuses. As in the US and Brazil, the specialisations introduced in Lille will have a direct connection with the local economic fabric.Lastly, all the mobility options and double degree courses will of course be open to students in Lille,” says Yan Grasselli, the programme director.

In a 4-year “international bachelor’s degree” format – a  standard recognised worldwide – and a course available 100% in English, the Global BBA is State-approved at fourth-year university level and accessible via the Sésame competition and the Parcoursup platform. Applications should be submitted between late January and mid-March 2021.

Part of the studies are carried out at partner universities or SKEMA campuses in Brazil, China, South Africa or the US for one to two years: a unique opportunity to make the most of an international academic and cultural experience.

The Global BBA offers various specialisations, including Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Supply Chains, Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility. Some are unique in the world of post-baccalaureate business schools, combining science and management: artificial intelligence, engineering and innovation management and management of the marine world.

Thanks to its experience, the SKEMA Global BBA has a 100% net employment rate at 6 months, with 62% of graduates landing international jobs.

A tailor-made course for top-level athletes in the Hauts-de-France region.

With flexible study periods to fit with their sports careers, this course enables students to combine sport with higher education. Students choose their courses and personalise their timetables and exams to factor in competitions and training. To support them, SKEMA provides academic and sports tutoring, as well as specific workshops dedicated to the problems encountered by sportspeople (image rights, stress management, etc.). These students can also obtain a sports merit scholarship of up to €2,000 per year.
